This painting depicts the objects and story associated with Jimmy's Tjukurrpa (dreaming), with his father's story.

It is set in Jimmy's traditional country of Tjukukalyu, east of Balgo in the Tanami Desert.

The central weaving lines represent Tjurrnu (soak water) whilst the patterning surrounding it depicts the Tali (sandhills).

Personal note from Laure:
A stunning piece of the amazing dots art of the great Jimmy Tchooga
and his wife
Angie!
And the colours, what can we say?! It's an explosion of the desert palette!
A-Ma-Zing!
