Amanda has painted some of her Grandmother's country called Mina Mina located well south of Balgo in the Great Sandy Desert.
Amanda has interpreted her Grandmother, senior and major artist Dorothy Napangardi's style of painting.
She has depicted the movement of ancestral women across the country as they danced, encountered others, and interacted in significant events, which occured along the way. She has painted how the country appeared to her grandmother (told through stories), of dry salt lakes and rockholes, interlaced with ancestral tracks.
